About the book:
The Warriors' Guide to Becoming Healthy, Content, & Prosperous is a book about remaining focused and motivated in the face of adversity. When I found out I was pregnant at the age of 15, I resolved to stay positive and work hard to achieve my goals. I was determined that my adolescent decisions would not define me or my life. In this book, I share the strategies and practices I used to improve my health—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—while pursuing graduate degrees and a career as a single parent. The strategies helped me keep a positive attitude, stay focused on my goals, avoid burnout, and learn to live a balanced life while managing my health problems. They will assist you in doing the same.
